Some only started watching it in s5 because of calzona (not me), others would have quit GA if it wasn’t for calzona (again not me). Out of those who only started watching because of calzona, there are a few who went back and watched all seasons and fell in love with other characters too. But some did not.
Difference is Mark doesn’t HAVE to but is legally ALLOWED to. Alex was bound by patient/doctor confidentiality. What if Meredith and Derek were abusive parents? Zola gets taken away but their buddy at the hospital tells them where she is? Now that’s not the case, but rules are rules and you don’t mess with them. Meredith learned her lesson.

I actually think Cristina is more beautiful than both Izzie and Lexie, and I’m usually not even attracted to people of Asian descent (who while I may think they’re pretty, they’re not my type). She has some very model-esque features, while Izzie and Lexie are more girl-next-door types (especially without the glam and make-up. Then considering Oh is one of the oldest on the cast, she’s stunning.

Yeah, I actually love Callie so much BECAUSE of her faults, and I get the sense that this is true for a lot of her fans. Whilst a lot of Arizona fans put Arizona on a pedestal and think she’s perfection. While this may have been sorta true at the start of their relationship, and she swooped in as some sort of savior (on wheels), her faults have definitely come out the longer she’s been on the show. Embrace them, people! It makes her far more interesting and real.

Would it have been okay to feel sorry for her if it happened as a S8 cliffhanger and Sara had to negotiate her contract? Is it no biggie that Arizona dumped Callie in the airport because Jessica/Arizona was always gonna come back for her? Uhm, it’s tv. Characters go through shit, but you know they’re usually gonna end up okay. Doesn’t mean you can’t feel for them when it’s happening.

I imagine they’re probably the same age or Arizona’s a year older (Callie’s two years in the peace corps account for Arizona’s 2 year peds fellowship), but that’s only if Arizona became head of pediatrics immediately after her fellowship (possible because it was an unexpected death and Webber couldn’t find anyone else for the job so he told Bailey when she complained). It would be more realistic if Arizona were a year or two older (at the very least) considering where she’s at with her career.
